An innovator, trendsetter and progressive thinker, you are fluent in current and emerging digital trends and have a proven understanding of digital and e-commerce platforms. You will demonstrate guidance / leadership in online and social media advertising, with an emphasis on developing and executing strategic direction and budgets for online & social media campaigns. You will be primarily responsible for digital media planning and trafficking on the accounts assigned to you. You are forward thinking and will provide an energy level that brings new and exciting ideas to the planning function and instills this in all employees in your group.
75% - Digital Media Planning, Trafficking and Optimization
Builds and presents media plans to the Digital Director, account services, and / or client for approval and makes necessary adjustments.
Book, monitor and manage digital media across a range of channels (programmatic, social, direct to publisher, etc.)
Maintains familiarity with the history, present organization and procedures of the client, as well as with conditions in the industry.
Functions as primary point of contact with account service and the client for requests concerning online & social media advertising.
Maintains liaison with outside media representatives and clients.
Attends client status meetings.
Develops basic target profiles/insights
Integrate and combine best practices from direct marketing, promotional marketing and CRM (customer relationship management) to provide sound strategic planning for highly-effective, fully-integrated online / offline campaigns
25% - Digital Analytics and Reporting
Provide comprehensive reporting on all digital marketing for clients and recommend changes based on report data.
Provide extensive research on digital trends and tactics and evaluate consumer research, brand information, trends and relevant data and recommend digital touch point and creative communications solutions that marry brand goals with consumer needs
Optimize client marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels
Study demographic data and consumer profiles to identify desired target audiences for cross media campaigns
Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
Strong project management skills
2+ years’ experience working in digital marketing
Experience with Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, and/or Twitter Ads.
Certification in HubSpot, Google, or Facebook are all assets.
Advanced skill in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Strong proficiency in managing and analyzing data
General understanding of advertising, communications and design
Knowledge of agriculture, and agriculture services considered an asset.
