Manitoba Board of Directors
Our President, Robert Mensies, has worked in marketing for 15 years and has the pleasure of focusing on the livestock and food processing sides of agriculture. His company, Edge Marketing Strategies, merged with 6P Marketing last year, where he holds the title of Director of Client Strategy. Robert’s ag experience is complimented with 6P’s existing branding and strategic marketing services where ag sustainability and social license focus continues to occupy his time when not working to build CAMA Manitoba.
Mary Thornley, is CAMA Manitoba's Executive Director. She has been with CAMA for the past 9 years as Executive Director and is the Event Manager for Best of CAMA. Prior to CAMA, she spent 5 years as an Account Executive with Kahntact and AdFarm (Calgary). Mary is a graduate of the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Commerce in Agricultural Business.
Theresa Bolton is the Corporate Director of Recruiting for Parrish & Heimbecker. Prior to joining P&H in 2015, Theresa was Practice Leader in Sales and Marketing at People First HR Services, where she led one of the largest recruitment practices in Winnipeg, MB. Agriculture was Theresa’s specialty, so the opportunity to join an agriculture company and recruit solely for agriculture was a natural fit—and a dream come true. Since joining P&H, Theresa has immersed herself in the ag industry, volunteering her time on boards such as Ag in the Classroom, the Canadian Association of Agri-Retailers and the Grain Elevator Association of Processors.
Jillian Einarson is the Extension Specialist – Agriculture Awareness with Manitoba Agriculture. She has a Master of Science in Human Nutritional Sciences from the University of Manitoba. Jillian enjoys working collaboratively to help the public have a better understanding of agriculture and is excited to be a part of the CAMA Manitoba board.
As Chair of Student Engagement, Marty Fisher brings 25 years of Agri-marketing experience to CAMA Manitoba. As the owner and creative director of Sherpa Marketing Marty has led Sherpa to a position as one of the leading technology driven marketing companies in Canada. Serving clients past and present like Monsanto, G3 (CWB), CCGA and Canola Council provided him the opportunity to experience the industry from seed to table.
Amanda Meyer B.Sc, is the Marketing Manager at Cibus. Amanda has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Manitoba from the Faculty of Agriculture. She has joined CAMA Manitoba as the Professional Development chair. “I look forward to bringing to light such issues and topics as License to Farm discussions.”
