As the Executive Director of the Canadian Agri-food Marketers Alliance (CAMA), Mary Thornley has been a driving force behind the organization’s growth and success for 19 years. With a deep-rooted passion for the agri-food industry, Mary has been instrumental in shaping CAMA’s national presence and ensuring it remains a vital resource for marketers and communicators across Canada.
With more than two decades of experience in marketing and event management, Mary has led a number of significant initiatives, some of her favorites include organizing Best of CAMA annually and coordinating and implementing CAMA’s rebranding in 2021.
Now, as CAMA embarks on a transformative restructuring—transitioning from a provincial chapter-based model to a unified national organization—Mary is committed to guiding the organization through this exciting new chapter. This shift will not only strengthen CAMA’s sustainability but also enhance the support, collaboration, and resources available to members across the country.
