Message as Provincial Director
My name is Derek Kent, and I’ve served as a CAMA Alberta Board Director for the past six years. With six years in agricultural marketing and fifteen years of digital marketing experience overall, my professional focus is on SEO, content strategy, and data analytics. I am dedicated to supporting agri-marketing and communications.
During my time with CAMA, I’ve helped maintain the website, coordinated events, and served as an Cambassador mentee. I am committed to advancing agricultural marketing and communication efforts across the country.
I’m looking forward to the new board structure and the collaborative opportunities it brings. This approach will strengthen the understanding and awareness of agricultural marketing nationally.
I aim to continue supporting events in Alberta and the Canada-wide mentorship program. These initiatives are valuable resources for professional growth and networking within our community.
To anyone looking to start or grow their career in agricultural marketing, I encourage you to become a CAMA member. Engage with the CAMA organization, participate in events, and take full advantage of the networking and learning opportunities available. Let’s continue to build a stronger future for agri-marketers together.
